Have you ever felt like you'll never learn all the things you need to know? Or even just paused to consider the sheer volume of knowledge available to us? Learning is a lifelong pursuit of what is good. For S&P, our learning responsibilites are twofold. First, we learn so that we can be the best at what we do. Second, we learn so that we can share what is good with others.
Let's start with being the best. To be clear, this is not a matter of comparison, as if we're the best compared with other deck builders. It's a matter of direction. We want to be oriented toward the Good, the most valuable, the highest standard. That's the best. And where that is, we want to be. Practically, that means we're constantly learning about innovations in our field, how to better serve our customers, and the most excellent ways to design and build. Our education is never complete. We're lifelong students of the Good, because there are constantly fresh ways to press into Life's abundance.
Second, we learn so that we can bring others with us into the Good. We want to be a wealth of information, problem solutions, and creative ideas for our clients and other builders in the industry. What good is knowing something if you don't do something good with it? When this fleshes out, it looks like making sure our clients have resources at their disposal to make a decision for what's the very best for their goals. It also shows up in our processes, promoting efficiency, communication, and evaluation. We want our clients to ask lots of questions. We want to be driven to more research, more ideas, more excellence.
We're students of the Good, and we want you to be, too. Building a custom deck and outdoor living space should always be toward that end.
